The organisers of the International Austrian & Intern. Lower Austrian Championships, which is scheduled for 27th – 29th May 2016, would like to point out that this year there are again show jumping classes offered as well, after several years of abstention. The classes start with a paid warm-up at 70-80 cm height, but for the Lower Austrian Championships, the poles are at 100 cm, and for the Austrian Championships at 105 cm. All classes are open for “non-Austrians”, too!
Of course, during the competition, the usual disciplines are offered, too: Dressage, Classic Pleasure, Mounted Native Costume, Reining, Western Pleasure, Trail, Ladies Sidesaddle – but the best of all is the prize money of a total amount of 32.500 €. Each class of the Austrian Championships offers 500,- € for the 1st to 5th place, and 200,- € (1st to fifth) at the Lower Austrian Championships.
Just have a look at the website of “Freunden des Vollblutaraberpferdes im Sport” (FAS) for downloading the schedule. Closing date of entries is the 27th April 2016. On the same website, you’ll also find a nice video of last year’s event!
