Embedded into the WAHO Conference 2017 were two stud visits to the Royal Stud and the Stud of HRH Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Al Khalifa.
Unaffected by fads and fashion, the Al Khalifa family breeds horses of straight desertbred lines for more than 200 years, who indeed resemble the old Bedouin horse. It was a unique opportunity for anybody interested, to see these horses, to (re-)train his eyes, to adjust them to a type of horse, which comes closest to the much-vaunted Bedouin horses.
