The small, yet nameless chestnut foal, who will probably turn grey, is the youngest offspring  this year of the rare Senner horses, Germany&#8217;s oldest horse breed. The dam Nina is a daughter of the Anglo Arabian Fandsy AA, who was internationally successful in eventing. She goes back over 24 generations of proven descent to the mare David (born 1725), who is one of the two foundation mares, of which descendants are still used today for the conservation of the Senner horse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the stallion Said (Pamir I \/ Sadana) the history of the Senner breed is cultivated in the Senner breed, in which purebred Arabians of Weil-Marbacher breeding were used as sires over and over again; Purebred Arabians, Anglo-Arabians and English Thoroughbreds have been approved as refiners in the conservation breeding program of Senner horses.
