Only a week ago, we spoke at the VHS and licensing in Alsfeld extensively with each other. And now there is only this void &#8230; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>A graduated engineer by profession and an expert for the reconstruction of traffic accidents, his private interest was the Arabian horse and everything that belongs to it &#8211; be it a magazine, which he stomped from the ground (Arabische Faszination), be it events (from Saarlouis to Aachen) that he organized, or clubs (in the Saarland and nationwide) that he led &#8211; he was a jack of all trades, a doer, a creator, a perfectionist &#8211; and a numbers man as he so often emphasized. And with these talents, he managed as the president of the VZAP to get this association  repeatedly out of troubled waters.<br>Twice he jumped into the breach and took over the helm of the VZAP and at the same time the organization of the All Nations Cup. A mammoth task. &#8220;Aachen&#8221; will no longer be the same without him.<br>The shockwaves that his death send around the world will not fade for a long time and the gap he leaves behind, whether in the VZAP or in the world of the Arabian horse, is just beginning to be felt.<br>My sincere condolences go above all to his wife Sylvie, but also to his fellow colleagues and friends at the VZAP.<br>Gudrun Waiditschka <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The news spreads like wildfire: Wolfgang Eberhardt died today surprisingly at the age of 71.
