Arabische Pferde – IN THE FOCUS

To combine breeding and sport…

… is the goal of Ahmed and Klaudia Al Samarraie. For 25 years they are pursuing this goal with the support of their children by breeding Shagya-Arabian horses.

Situated above the Fulda valley, the 200 year old buildings of Samarra Stud are surrounded by 20 ha of land, suitable to raise young horse in healthy conditions, so they become sound riding an sports horses.
The stud is based on three foundation mares, as well as three licensed and performance tested Shagya-Arabian stallions. Many of the horses were actively used in endurance riding and their success is something to be proud of: Klaudia Al Samarraie was German National Champion in 2007 with the stud’s chief sire Okeano (Balaton / Ondra (by Bajar)). With the Premium stallion (ZSAA) Olymp (Kosmonaut ox / Olbia) she competed successfully at the European Championships 2011 in Florac / France.
