An Arabian horse for China’s President Xi Jinping

The crown prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, presented the 5-year-old Purebred Arabian Gallardo J (Emerald J / Gomera J), bred by Christine Jamar, Belgium, as a gift to the Chinese President Xi Jinping. China is a growing market for Arabian horses and the first Arabian horse show will take place on 4-5 August in Bejing; 40 horses hav been entered.
However, Gallardo J was not the first Arabian horse, presented to Xi Jinping. Already in 2017, the President of Kyrgyzstan presented the grey Arabian stallion Czar Dam to President Xi Jinping. Czar Dam (Poganin / Contra) was born in Poland. All in all about 200 Arabian horses live in Chian, all are either imported from WAHO-approved studbooks or their direct decendants. China is an applying member of WAHO.
The number of horses in China is estimated at around 6 Million. There are more than 1000 equestrian clubs, stud farms and racetracks, with an estimated 10 Million horse lovers, China has a total population of 1.4 Billion.
