Quite recently, the US National Champion Stallion El Nabila B arrived at Johanna Ullströms Trainingcenter in Belgium, and is now – again – available for European breeders.
Born 1996 at the Hungarian National Stud of Bábolna, the mating of the Russian stallion Kubinec with the Egyptian mare Elf Layla Walayla was viewed quite critically by some breeders. However, the success story of this stallion proofed the then stud director Tamas Rombauer right: El Nabila B became the most famous ambassador of Babolna breeding worldwide.
El Nabila B started his show career in 2001 at the International “Ostbayern Show” in Kreuth, where he achieved the title of Reserve Champion. Short time later he was sold to Brazil, where in 2004, he was Brazilian National Champion, and he continued his string of victories in the US, where in 2009 he won his class at the Las Vegas Breeders World Cup and one year later was named US National Champion stallion.
But it is not only the show ring, he is also successful in the breeding barn and has so far around 200 foals on the ground, among others, Om El Arab International had him on lease.
