It was again an exciting race for first place and in the final spurt Al Ashar was ahead! In total, around 2,500 votes were cast, of which Al Ashar got over 900 – his fan club is truly remarkable!
The talented Al Ashar (Ashur / Aswana V) * 2005, bred and owned by Helena Hecker, jumps everything – whether in the show jumping course or in eventing. Together with his young rider Neele Schlichte, he was the best “jumper” among the purebred Arabians in Germany last year (based on the FN ranking points). From time to time, Nele’s father Dirk is also allowed to ride Al Ashar, to demonstrate that also purebred Arabians can be placed up to class A**!
