Sad news from Poland has just reached us that the photographer Urszula Magdalena Sawicka succumbed to her illness on July 28th. “Ula”, who was a germanist by profession and therefore spoke excellent German, was also known in Arabian horse circles. She photographed all breeds of horses, but her love belonged to the Arabians and so she was often in Janow Podlaski and created the cover picture of issue 3/2015 for “Arabian Horses IN THE FOCUS”. She was 60 years old.
