Good news from WAHO – the WAHO Conference 2022 is currently scheduled to take place from October 8th to 14th, 2022, with the possibility of subsequent “post-conference tours”. Of course, everything stands and falls with the corona pandemic and any travel restrictions that may exist.
The actual conference for delegates, WAHO members and guests is scheduled for October 11th and 12th. The tourist part (Pre- & Post-Conference Tours) will include the numerous historical and cultural sites in Jordan, but also private stud farms. The “Royal Stables” with a private breeders’ parade are on the program on October 13th.
The longer post-conference tours are suitable for a more in-depth exploration of Jordan’s wonderful heritage. This gives you the opportunity to stay longer in places like Petra and the Dead Sea. Visits to the desert of Wadi Rum and the Red Sea resort of Aqaba are also planned. Visits to some lesser known but fascinating wildlife sanctuaries and conservation projects will also be included in the programme, such as the Al Ma’wa Reserve for Nature & Wildlife.
