The schedule for the ISG European Championship for Shagya Arabians on 2.-4. August is online now. The main and state stud Marbach provides the framework for this interesting event. The European Championships are organized by the two German Arabian breed associations VZAP and ZSAA.
By the way, the Shagya Arabians – in contrast to the purebred Arabians – are judged in seven criteria: 1. bred and sex type, 2. head, 3. neck, 4. body, 5. legs, 6. walk, 7. trot; The international panel of judges consists of: Lea Ernst / CH, Franz Hoppenberger / AUT, Michal Horny / SLK, Tamás Rombauer / HUN and Diether von Kleist / GER.
Unfortunately, the event takes place without riding classes. Entry deadline is 10th July 2019.
