One of the greats is no more: Psytadel died at his new home in Iran at the age of 21 years. Bred in the USA, he moved to Belgium as a weanling, owned by James Swaenepoel. He was one of the first sons to draw attention to his sire, Padrons Psyche. Just like him, also Psytadel himself left behind a number of sons who co-founded their grandsire’s showhorse dynasty: Ali Moniscione, Psyrasic, SMA Magic One, Calypso OS, and many more. Also through his daughters, the blood was widely spread. After all, he had over 600 offspring and was one of the most sought-after stallions in Europe.
At the age of 19 he was sold to the Iranian stud Tehran Stud, which had resold him within the country last year, where he now died at the age of 21.
